 Nixon in China March 16 & 18, 2012 See the opera everyone will be talking about! Our new production will be the first re-thinking ever of the masterpiece The New York Times calls “audacious, moving, and inspired.” Metropolitan Opera artist Lee Gregory, soprano sensation Kelly Kaduce, and General Director Mark Beudert head the cast. It will be presented in collaboration with the University of Oregon’s commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Richard Nixon’s historic visit to China.
