The performing arts are a legacy we must preserve for the future.  Art enables us to see things in a different way; the parts that artists play on stage help us play our own parts in life. Opera’s combination of all the performing arts creates unmatched power to elevate our lives, power only truly experienced “live.”

As with all the performing arts, ticket sales cover only a small portion of our budget.  We rely both on your attendance at our productions and your donations in order to bring you exceptional performances. To continue to make high-quality opera available live in Eugene, bring world-class talent to our community, and to nurture local artists, we need your support.

Gifts can take many forms

Cash – You can pledge your support (by personal check or credit card) with an annual payment or spread it out in installments over the course of the season. 

Securities – Stocks, mutual funds, bonds and other securities are welcome and may provide you with a considerable savings in capital-gains taxes.

Gifts-In-Kind – Tangible gifts or services may be donated for the purposes of offsetting budgeted items.

Matching Gifts and Business Partnerships – Your gift can be multiplied if you work for a company that offers a matching gift program—or you could involve your company in sponsorship!

Planned Gifts – Including Eugene Opera in your estate planning is an excellent way to ensure that future generations will enjoy world-class performances. Consider including us in your will, life insurance policy, retirement plan, or charitable remainder trust.

Endowment – Eugene Opera has played a central role in the artistic life of our community for 35 years.  In order to develop a secure financial foundation for the future, Eugene Opera must develop a substantial permanent endowment fund.
