With the University of Oregon and Lane Community College, Eugene is also a center for higher learning — and top-notch athletic events from football at Autzen Stadium to track and field at historic Hayward Field, which will host the 2012 Olympic Track and Field Team Trials.
The Wilamette Valley is known for several renowned vineyards and is an exceptional place to kick off a wine tour. Whether you come for the scenic beauty, culture, education or sports, Eugene has it all. If we didn’t, we couldn't call ourselves the “World’s Greatest City of the Arts & Outdoors!”

Shopping: Downtown Eugene features blocks of art galleries, restaurants and boutique shops.
Oakway Center and Valley River Center are other shopping destinations with stores like Pottery Barn and The Gap.
